Preschool Tuition
PRESCHOOL (N2 - K2)
Our preschool Chinese tuition program is designed to exposed and help young children develop a strong foundation in Chinese (Mandarin) Language.
Our experienced teachers use a variety of age-appropriate methods to teach basic Chinese vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure. Through interactive activities such as games, nursery rhymes, poems and stories, children will learn to recognize and pronounce Chinese characters. Developing their literacy skills.
At the end of our program, children will have a basic understanding of Chinese language which will prepare them for further learning in the future. We look forward to helping your child develop their Chinese language skills and instilling a love for learning at a young age.
PROGRAMME OUTLINE
Reading and Writing
We will use "Picture Based Learning" to maximize students ability to recognize and memorize the chinses words. They will learn "Hanyu Pinyin", writing strokes and writing sequence. Comprehension exercise will be conducted and student will learn to construct and write simple Chinese sentence with proper syntax and vocabulary.
Listening and Speaking
Our Teachers will explicitly teaches children letter-sound correspondences prior to emphasizing the meaning of written words and to speak in correct form. Student will also practice conversation, developing communication skill and confidence in using Chinese (Mandarin).
Literary and Cultural Appreciation
Students will be guided to make important connections between reading and real life settings. This will help students to understand words that they have learnt in a deeper manner. We will use daily surroundings provide us the platform for authentic learning to happen.
Creative & Critical Thinking
Our teachers are taught to create a supportive learning environment that encourage imagination, innovation, and problem-solving, such as brainstorming, mind-mapping, and debate to help students become more effective and adaptable communicators and thinkers in the Chinese language.
Preparatory
Our Preschool courses aim will be for students to establish foundation in the language and literacy skills for a smooth transition to Primary 1. Have the ability to read and write Chinese characters. Allowing them to get a head start with exposure to Primary 1 Chinese curriculum.
Thematic and Sensory Learning
Learn through fun and engaging activities to keep the students interested. Slowly exposing children and relate their learning to things around them. Using different elements to help children learn and make lessons engaging. Such as sensory play, music and movement, handicrafts, story-telling etc.
